Miami Beach's importance in the real estate industry is reinforced with the opening of the new office of Metropolitan Financial Corporation and Cooper-Horowitz of Florida at 1111 Lincoln Road. The two companies already have Florida offices in Plantation, West Palm Beach and Naples and the new Miami Beach office will service the entire South Florida region.

Broward-based Metropolitan Financial, owned by The Zuckerman Group, has been in South Florida for 40 years. The full service mortgage brokerage company specializes in residential purchases and refinancing. Cooper-Horowitz of Florida is a division of Cooper-Horowitz, a multi-billion dollar Manhattan-based lending company which has arranged financing for commercial properties throughout the US since 1964. The company offers an extensive advisory service for complex real estate transactions.

Michael Zuckerman, executive vice president of Metropolitan, announced the naming of Adam Zuckerman as new vice president of Metropolitan Financial Corporation.
