Imagine playing golf next to a pro like Greg Norman.
Well, we may have found the next best thing. In
tonight's Luxury Living report, Shireen Sandoval
takes us on a tour of a new neighborhood with
plenty of water, sand, and green.
(WSVN) -- He's known as "the shark"
on the golf course, and now, golfer greg norman
is taking a bite out of the real estate world.
This is the Medalist Country Club Estates and
Spa, just off U.S. 1 in Hobe Sound.
Some homes are already built, but much of the
development is still under construction.
Once its' complete, they'll be just 87 houses
in the entire community.
Andrew Zuckerman from Medalist Country Club Estates
& Spa says, "Here you have big lots,
it's very quiet, very secluded, we're surrounded
by 600 acres of nature preserve. This is one of
our treatment rooms, our facial massage room."
And you just don't get the home, this luxury living
package comes with membership to the spa and golf
course.
Take your best shot at a hole in one on this par
3 golf course.
It was designed by Greg Norman himself.
The course winds around the preserve, which is
so pristine, you never know what you'll see while
you're out there.
If you don't like these greens, you can always
head to greg norman's private country club, which
sits right next door.
If golf's not your game, then work out in the
fitness center...
Or relax at the luxury spa.
It was designed by Greg's wife, Laura.
Interior designer Laura Norman says, "A lot
of people haven't been to australia since it's
so far away and I was just trying to interpret
that."
Laura also designed the restaurant and pub --
where everything from the decor to the beer has
an aussie flavor.
Here you can grab a glass of fosters and sit back
and relax on the big veranda.
Laura says, "A lot of the houses in Australia
have the big veranda and they're up on stilts,
that's the australian kind of housing or restaurants
so I got my inspiration from that a little bit."
From the luxury spa... To the greens... They say
membership has its' privileges, and this is no
luxury living exception.
Andrew says, "From the homes themselves,
to the location, to the facilities that are offered
within each home, within the club, would make
this absolute luxury."
The homes cost anywhere from $800,000 to close
to $2 million dollars.
